Real Friends?

cropped-life-logo.png

Our church and community groups are studying the miracles in the book of Mark. Chapter 2 shares the story where men came to the house where Jesus was and made an opening in the roof. Then they did something amazing! They lowered their paralytic friend so he could be touched by Jesus. Then we got to talking about those kind of friends.

When is the last time someone did that for you? Or when you did that for another? These men went to great lengths to lead a friend to Jesus. He needed a touch. In a world of sound bytes and technology, we need real friends. We need to be real friends. Friends who take time to lead others to Christ.

Relationships are key to building a life of fulfillment and happiness. Not quantity, quality. Think about friendships this week. Those kind. In this case, a magnificent miracle was the amazing result!
